Georgetown Anomaly 3-day Art Workshop

With Randal Roberts, Kelsey Huckaby, Keith Prossick

Friday, July 10th - Sunday, July 12th, 2026

Location: Anomaly Gallery, 514 Sixth Street, Georgetown, CO

Class description:

Join us for an immersive weekend drawing & painting intensive, in the heart of beautiful Georgetown CO!

Through drawing meditations and guided visualizations, we’ll explore creativity as both practice and process. We’ll also start new paintings and cover various acrylic painting techniques.
This workshop blends technical instruction, creative exploration, one-on-one guidance, open studio and community connection, offering artists of all levels tools to enrich their creative practice. Dedicate some time to making art together!

(This class happens to land on Randal’s birthday - we can’t think of a better way to celebrate another journey around the sun than making art with our friends!)

Materials:

* All necessary class materials provided! (~11x14 canvases, selection of colors, etc).

Your host:

Keith Prossick / Anomaly Gallery
“Through my paintings, I weave a story connecting the visions we have created exploring how we have found ourselves floating through space on a little planet. With my art, I love finding pathways tying all these myths, legends, and tales, both spiritual and scientific, that bind us all into one magnificent tapestry. “

Your Instructors:

Randal Roberts is an internationally recognized self-taught painter. Having identified as an artist his whole life, at the age of 30 he was inspired at last to quit the factory job, embark on a soul-searching road trip, and dedicate himself to art full time.
Statement: "I pledge to do my best work for the highest good, and to practice my art as a way of awakening myself and others."

Kelsey Huckaby moved to the Denver area
from south of Austin in 2021 to broaden her
artistic horizons. She's been involved in the
Visionary Art scene since 2013, live painting
at shows and festivals, painting murals,
producing a clothing line, and also facilitating
multiple organizational roles through the arts.
Her artistic practice has always been
interwoven with a path of initiating, and
curating arts events, showcases, venues,
and even teaching art classes for both adults
and children.
